Must get: Truffle Fried Rice, Szechuan Garlic Beans, Jumbo scallop sui mai and Calamari. SO GOOD! The restaurant is clean and very aesthetic. The food is also very well presented. Palette Tea House might be one of my favorite chinese restaurants now. My family and I had a wonderful experience. The service was on point, water was always refilled and we were always checked on.

I dined in at Palette Tea House with a small group of friends, and it was an overall unique experience. The restaurant truly emphasized art with their dishes and presentation! I recommend ordering anything of interest in each section and sharing it with others. This way, we were all able to try a variety of dishes without feeling too full. My personal favorites were the lobster dumpling, black truffle morel mushroom chow fun, and the salted egg lava bao! These dishes were incredibly unique, bursting with flavor, warmth, and a delightful blend of textures that left a lasting impression. The lobster dumpling had a rich, succulent taste, while the chow fun was earthy and aromatic with the perfect balance of truffle. The salted egg lava bao was a sweet, savory delight that melted in my mouth. The service was excellent! The staff made fantastic recommendations tailored to our party's interests, and the food arrived promptly. The portions were generous yet perfectly sized, allowing us to savor each dish without feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend Palette Tea House for anyone looking to enjoy a culinary experience that's as visually stunning as it is delicious. The combination of great service, artistic presentation, and exquisite flavors truly sets this restaurant apart.

5-stars for food, service, and ambiance. But 4-stars overall because as good as their bites are, it's pricey for dim sum. Can find comparable if not better (priced) options in Chinatown. That said, this spot is in a prime location in Ghirardelli Square and just next door to SF's best tourist spots. **note: tried to use a giftcard for Palette Tea Garden (the sister restaurant in San Mateo), and they would not accept it. Fyi!!

Delicious dim sum and Cantonese food brought to you by the same folks who brought you Koi Palace. Beautiful buildout / decor in the restaurant with a more modern vibe. My family is already big fan of the Koi Palace in Dublin (because they live in that area), but I feel that this space is a little more elevated and with higher grade of service as well. Lots of classic dim sum items on the menu as well as twists that elevate said classics. For example the crispy ha gow and wagyu beef pot stickers. I came here with my parents for a son-parents day lol. I let my mom do most of the ordering, but everything was really delicious here. I'm a really big fan! I think we ordered well and got to try a lot of things on the menu for such a small group. I can see why my parents like this place so much.
